A familiar sight to everyone: the unmistakable appearance of Concord in the air. The beautiful and aerodynamically efficient delta wing and the two electric motors in pusher configuration endow the model with an impressive flight performance over a broad speed range. Typical delta landing approaches with low airspeed and high angle of attack are particularly spectacular. The new type of foam employed for the moulded components minimises the risk of breakage if the occasional landing should turn out less than perfect. An important factor at the design stage was the requirement to accommodate low-cost standard components, and the Concord accepts ordinary batteries and two standard-size servos. Concord is controlled via separate ailerons and elevator, so you don’t even need a computer system with mixer functions. The high level of pre-fabrication and accurately moulded foam parts ensure that construction is simply and very quick. The large decal sheet supplied as standard provides an easy way of finishing the model in the colours of Air France or British Airways.
