The Robbe model of the Calif A21 S is designed to 1:5 scale, and we worked hard at emulating the distinctive features of the full-size machine. The high quality white pigmented GRP fuselage is supplied with all necessary openings pre-cut. The wing joiner sleeve is of CNC machined aluminum, and all you need to do is fit it in the holes and bond it in i.e. all the usual difficulties with measurement and alignment are eliminated. The large canopy opening gives ideal access for installing the twin retract units as well as fitting the RC installation and cockpit details, The wing panels and tailplane are manufactured with the latest CNC technology using machined metal moulds, and all necessary fittings are factory installed. For example, the sleeves for the 12 mm round steel joiner rod, the twisted servo extension leads, the lining strips and fabric hinges for the ailerons are all incorporated as standard. The winglets and tail cap are moulded in GRP and ready to fit |
