Electric-powered almost-ready-to-fly model aircraft for beginners.
The enormous success of the "Airdancer" has encouraged us to take the theme one stage further. Modern scale airplane looks, good ground take-off ability and additional elevator control are the features which make the difference. This model is based loosely on the "Cessna 152", a 2-seater private aircraft. The model makes no particular demands on the pilot’s ability. Take-off and landing are more or less automatic, and once in the air the model is so docile, that you can leave the controls alone for much of the time. Should you get the model in a dangerous flight attitude, just remember to let go of the transmitter sticks and you will find that the Cessna is quite capable of returning to "straight and level" flight by itself. In no small part the model’s good-natured flying characteristics are due to its extraordinarily lightweight construction based on moulded components. . Integral supports for the various internal and external fittings exclude the possibility of constructional errors and make it possible to complete the model very quickly. The tricycle landing gear and steerable nosewheel ensure reliable ground take-offs from a hard surface. Should there no hard surface be available, a simple hand launch is also possible. Flight times of up to 10 minutes on one battery charge are perfectly normal. With a proportional speed controller you have full control over the Cessna’s flight speed and/or climb rate, allowing you to carry out crowd-pleasing low passes before touching down exactly at your chosen landing spot |
