Flying wing
The Geier (vulture) is an extremely versatile "fun" model with amazing handling and performance, and a distinctive profile in the air. The Geier can certainly be flown at high speed, but is equally at home circling gently in thermals ? all according to the pilot?s preference. The model?s outstanding stability in flight makes it a good choice even for the relatively inexperienced pilot, while its superb manoeuvrability ensures that it is tremendous fun at the slope. Very long flight times are easily possible thanks to its low wing loading. A glow motor can be fitted as an option, and in this guise the Geier?s aerobatic potential can be exploited to the full. You will soon find that there are no limits to the wild low-level aerobatics you can fly: tight loops, steep turns, rolls, inverted flight and high-speed dives are easy meat for this model. Alternatively the power can be used to take the model up to height quickly, so that you can enjoy long gliding flights subsequently. To control the elevons (mixed ailerons/elevators) you will need a transmitter featuring an electronic delta mixer. |
