The is a beautiful Ready to Sail boat - Its packed with detail including spare masts, Rigging and even a immatation Solar pannel. Just Stood on the Shelf she looks beatiful. very very realistic. The Model is steerd by a rudder and the sails are set mechanicly- Its probably the easiest yacht to sail i have ever tried - very simple and easy to control. Assembly is easy and takes about 10mins with easy to follow instructions and sailing hints. The Keel works well u to about 20mph winds and she would make a ideal park or small lake model Richard

L'Intrepide was  designed for the 1991 Mini Transat Trans-Atlantic single  handed race by Gilles Breteche. The model is a faithfully  detailed 1:25 scale model of L'Intrepide and measures 108cm  from the top of the mast to the bottom of the keel and 56cm  from bow to stern. The rudder is controlled by 27MHz radio  control from a remote controller which set the rudder position  to port, starboard or centre. There is a dry-dock stand for  display of the boat when not in use. The hull is completely finished and some assembly of sails and rigging is required.
